What is MACA extract
This MACA extract comes from the roots of the Peruvian Maca plant, this is the best-known yellow MACA species. This plant mainly grows in the Peruvian Andes mountains. This plant has been used by the Peruvian people for centuries for various health and medicinal properties. MACA contains many healthy nutrients in high concentrations. It consists mainly of starch, healthy sugars, protein, amino acids, fiber, vitamins, minerals and various plant sterols. It contains no less than 5 times more protein and 4 times more fiber than potatoes. Maca extract has strong properties that have different effects on the body and mind. It works as an adaptogen and is said to provide more mental balance and vitality. A similar product is Rhodiola Rosea extract.
